KJ and Dan are having a hard time communicating. After several years of strained relations, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse trapped in a glue trap. They disagree on how to handle the situation: KJ advocates for a quick death, while Dan suggests making the mouse’s last moments as pleasant as possible. The couple get engaged and move on, slowly finding their way to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is interrupted by the arrival of a petite woman who can only be described as “eccentric”: she’s the younger sister of her host, and she didn’t know anyone was staying at the family cabin. No problem if she stays, right? As the couple struggles to juggle this intruder on top of their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this unpleasant third wheel could threaten not only their relationship…
