Typically, a landman’s job is to negotiate and finalize agreements with landowners who own mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent. Similar to a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, housing for workers (a human camp), assemble excavation machinery, and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations.

They are also part of the fixer, problem solver, and facilitator. So far the series is good, very good, but I can’t shake the feeling that the daughter.

In the series they say the daughter is 17 and then they sexualize her in an extreme way! All of these scenes have nothing to do with the plot and make them uncomfortable to watch.
I wish they would rewrite his charter and I have no idea how it got past the editors
I understand what they are doing with the character, the daughter is going down the wrong path and her father will guide her to the right one. This could have been easily avoided by just saying he is 18, you can be 18 and still go to high school!
