David Kaplan: Yes
Story
Mismatched cousins reunite for a tour of Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd couple’s old tensions resurface against the background of their family history. When Benji and David visit their grandmother’s home in Poland, the setting is where Jesse Eisenberg; and his real ancestors settled in the diaspora.. Benji Kaplan: We stay in motion, we stay light, we stay agile. Benji Kaplan: The guide comes over, buys tickets, we tell him we’re going to the bathroom. David Kaplan: Bathroom.
Benji Kaplan: Yes
Benji Kaplan: Gets on the back of the train, walks to the front and looks for it. David Kaplan: I’m sorry, are we the wanderers? By the time you get to the front, the train will be at the station and we will be home free. David Kaplan: That’s fucking stupid. Tickets are probably like twelve dollars.Benji Kaplan: That’s the principle of it. We shouldn’t have to pay for train tickets in Poland.

This is our country. David Kaplan: No, it was our country. They fired us because they thought we were cheap. Featured on CBS News Sunday Morning: 46.44. I really enjoyed "A Real Pain". It’s about two cousins, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, who travel to Poland and embark on a tour that includes an old concentration camp.
I found the film realistic
So the movie obviously gets dark, but it’s also funny and heartwarming. Cousins hang out and smoke weed together. Sometimes their relationship is not pleasant, but I can tell that they love each other. Eisenberg both wrote and directed the film and did an amazing job. The story, acting, cinematography, editing and more are great. There are many beautiful shots.
I just love this movie
The concentration camp scene is poignant and respectful. I was sad at times during the movie. I think I cared a lot about the cousins. There are no scenes that took too long. "Real pain" definitely one of my favorite movies of the year. Of course, I highly recommend watching it.
