Story
Trapped on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and unite in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat. Reference Korman Productions on Deep Dive TV Podcast: Teacup on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 “Think About the Bubbles”/”My Little Lighthouse” (2024).
The visual effects were also quite grotesque!
I wasn’t sure about the show until the end of the second episode. No spoilers, but the sound effects alone were so visceral that I was excited to see more!
The show finds its footing at the end of the second episode
The gore reminds me of the fun practical effects of 80s/90s horror, but combined with CGI. I think it’s great that the showrunners are taking their time with the story – we used to give series a lot more time when 24 episodes was the norm.

I’m interested to see where the show goes from here. "What We Do in the Shadows" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
