Story
A maniac named Art the Clown terrorizes two friends on Halloween and anyone else who gets in his way. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to audition for Art the Clown after Mike Giannelli dropped out of the role and retired from acting altogether. During his audition, he pretended to taste the blood of his beheaded victim, but then added salt to it to make it taste better. In the shots where Tara is gagged with tape, the tape clearly does not touch the lower part of her mouth in some of the earlier shots, while in other shots it is tightly wrapped around both of her mouths.

When you see an 8 month old baby microwaved to death… There is a heavily edited version on YouTube that removes the graphic violence and blood, as well as the nudity.

I’ll TryWritten and directed by Thanks. Terrifier is a brutal, barbaric and brutal horror film full of shocking kills and senseless gore, completely devoid of any basic narrative foundation and exists solely to shock, unsettle, disturb and disgust viewers with its endless gore and ruthless carnage, but for those who like it extreme, this indie slasher may prove to be a welcome ride of thrills and killing. Written, produced, edited and directed by Damien Leone, the plot is a mere outline with nothing of value behind it, and exists only as an excuse for the filmmaker to indulge in old-fashioned tricks that drive violence and viscerality. The make-up and special effects are noteworthy, but with a lack of narrative and characters to support it, the film doesn’t go very far.
Nevertheless, David Howard Thornton is impressive in the role and is a real pain to watch
Further complicating the journey are the cheesy dialogue and awful performances, not to mention the fact that it lacks tension and is fairly predictable and repetitive. The cardboard characters continue to make idiotic choices throughout the film that only serve to diminish our interest in their fates, if there was any at all. Overall, Terrifier is as repulsive and off-putting as it is raw and ruthless, and often gets carried away by scenes of torture and terror. While there is an audience for this type of cinematography, the film remains a largely forgettable ride.

Still, Art the Clown shows promise and potential to become an iconic horror franchise, but his character and mythology need to be fleshed out more than what was done here. Art the Clown, Pennywise, and Killer Klowns are just a few of the comical creatures that send shivers down our spines.
