It is the latest edition of the Windows operating system with a new interface and other new features such as the new Microsoft Store, a new personal feed that is powered by artificial intelligence and the best performance of the Microsoft Edge browser, the integrated taskbar . What’s new in Windows 11:- Windows 11 will have a completely new design. It is clear that Microsoft needs a good reason to withdraw its previous claims and further abandon Windows 10 by introducing a new operating system number. And the new design is perfect for that. The Redmond giant has long been preparing the design of the update with the code name Sun Valley (“Sun Valley”) – it seems that this was the name of Windows 11.
– Launched and system items will float above the bottom bar
The Sun Valley project has been flickering on the network for a long time – Microsoft regularly revealed details about the new interface style, insiders shared previously unknown information, and popular designers in their circles drew realistic concepts based on all this data. Start is the calling card and face of every latest version of Windows. It is not surprising that in the Windows 11 operating system, the developers will transform it again, but not both functionally and visually – the Start window will hang above the bottom bar. We have to admit that this small change makes the system look much fresher. Judging by the information on the network, Microsoft will not radically change the “interior” of this menu – the innovations will only affect the design of the window itself.
– Rectangles will disappear, replaced by tabs
The control panel will float and have the exact same design as Start. The Action Center will be combined with control buttons, similar to what other operating systems have been using for a long time. Almost all mentions of this new menu indicate that it will be an island, with controls in a separate panel, notifications in another, and specific items (like the player) in yet another separate panel. In fact, insiders and creators of concepts are divided on this matter, with some convinced that Microsoft will not change its tradition and stay at right angles, while others believe that in 2021 Microsoft will follow the thread fashion. The latter is more in line with the definition of “All-new Windows” – floating menus are not enough to qualify a new design as truly new.
– There will be a transparent background with a fade all over
The tab is expected to affect practically everything in the system, from context menus and system panels to all application windows. True, even in this matter, the opinions of concept developers differ – some draw fillets in all possible interface elements, others combine them at right angles. There is disagreement on the Internet about the style of the window island, the design of the corners and the levitation effect of the menus, but almost everyone agrees on the transparency of the windows. The vast majority of design leaks and renders show transparency and fading in all windows, whether it’s at least the Start menu or the browser. Moreover, these effects are present even when installing the canceled Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft developed for devices with two screens and weak applications in parallel with the Sun Valley project.
– New font that was already displayed
The so-called acrylic transparency means the use of new effects when hovering over elements, as well as increased spaces between elements – those areas of the interface with which the user interacts will certainly increase, and page titles will be thickened. Windows 11 will probably use the default responsive Segoe UI Variable font, which already appeared in Windows 10 Build 21376 for Insiders. Its advantage is that it is equally suitable for small texts and large notes.
